| Job Summary A Specialist RM/PM Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of material and planning This includes managing inventory, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely procurement and production of material Duties : – Forecasting future demand for materials, services specific in production plant based on various factors like sales data, market trends, and production schedules. – Communicating with other departments regarding production schedules and any possible changes. – Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing potential shortages. – Working with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components. – Developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to meet manufacturing needs. – Collaborating with other departments like production, logistics, and quality control to ensure smooth execution of plans. – Streamlining processes so that production can meet deadlines. – Applying their knowledge of maths and statistics to real-world scenarios – Analysing data to identify trends, monitor performance, and make informed decisions. |
